Job summary

Respack Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a skilled Process Technician to operate and maintain extrusion, cutting or printing machines in our production department.

You will monitor production targets, ensure quality and safety, perform start-up/shutdown, and support engineers in process improvements. A minimum of 3 years in manufacturing with machine operation, setup, and troubleshooting is required; experience in plastic film/extrusion is a plus. Shift, weekends, and overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setup.
• Experience in machine operation, setup, troubleshooting and production processes.
• Experience in plastic film / extrusion / converting is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure machines operate according to production targets, quality specs and safety requirements.
• Monitor process parameters and record production data accurately.
• Help reduce scrap, downtime and machine stoppages.
• Perform machine start-up, shutdown and product changeover.
• Support Engineers/Managers in process and productivity improvements.
