Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Must be capable of hands-on troubleshooting of production machinery.
• Preferably with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the paper packaging industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machines to keep them running smoothly.
• Respond to machine breakdowns, diagnose faults, and repair.
• Manage spare part inventory.
• Lead a team of technicians and contractors for maintenance work.
• Assist Production Department to plan and strategize operations.
• Develop alternative production technologies for cost-effective maintenance.
• Plan and provide maintenance reports and machine status reports.
• Monitor and coordinate maintenance schedules with the Production Manager.
