Job summary

Scientex in Malaysia is seeking a qualified maintenance leader to head engineering and maintenance at our flexible packaging manufacturing plant. You will develop preventive and predictive maintenance for blown film extruders, printing presses, laminators and bag-making machines, and oversee utilities like air compressors and chillers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience managing maintenance teams and factory engineering operations.
• Strong troubleshooting, project management and continuous improvement capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and maintenance activities across the flexible packaging manufacturing plant.
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programmes for blown film extruders, printing presses, laminators and bag-making machines.
• Oversee plant utilities including air compressors, chillers, cooling systems and electrical infrastructure.
• Drive equipment reliability, breakdown reduction, energy efficiency and engineering improvement projects.
