Job summary

Ansell is a global leader in protection solutions and is seeking a Packaging & Artwork Coordinator in Kulim. You will plan packaging material requirements, manage supplier PO processes, monitor inventory, and support artwork development through the Artwork Web Center to ensure production continuity.

You will also collaborate with QA and R&D, support indirect purchasing, and help ensure packaging meets quality standards while adhering to Lean and GMP practices.

Qualifications

• Preferably with Degree/Diploma / Equivalent work experience.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic knowledge of MRP systems and software is a plus.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Able to work well with different departments.
• Strong follow-up and expediting abilities.
• Capable of planning and managing raw and packaging material inventory to ensure smooth production and packing operations.
• Experienced in handling production orders to meet packing schedules for finished goods.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues related to POs and delivery schedules.
• Review stock and requirement lists to validate PLOs within the designated time frame.
• Convert confirmed PLOs into POs and process them promptly.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of packaging materials for production continuity.
• Replenish local packaging materials required for production operations.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of packaging materials against budgeted targets.
• Collaborate with production, planning, QA and R&D to ensure packaging materials meet specs.
• New Artwork Development: coordinate with Production, Suppliers, and MDM to initiate packaging materials and liaise with packing/engineering for materials.
