Job summary

Able Perfect Sdn Bhd is seeking a Purchasing Senior Executive to manage procurement, supplier relationships and packaging artwork coordination. The role ensures timely material availability, cost-effective purchasing and compliance with quality standards to support manufacturing operations.

You will source and negotiate with suppliers, coordinate artwork between Marketing, R&D, QA/QC and Production, and monitor inventory to avoid shortages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in artwork management, packaging development or printed packaging procurement is highly preferred
• Strong negotiation, communication and supplier management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP systems

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for best quality, pricing and delivery terms
• Purchase packaging materials, labels, printed materials and other items
• Coordinate artwork development, revision, approval, and implementation with internal departments and external suppliers
• Review artwork specifications to ensure compliance with product requirements and printing accuracy
• Work with packaging and printing suppliers to resolve artwork and production issues
• Monitor inventory levels and plan material purchases to avoid shortages or excess stock
• Issue Purchase Orders and follow up on delivery schedules to meet production needs
• Evaluate supplier performance on quality, cost, delivery and service
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction through supplier negotiation and process improvements
• Handle supplier complaints, non-conformance issues and corrective actions
• Maintain purchasing records, contracts, supplier documentation and artwork files
• Support new product development by sourcing materials and coordinating packaging readiness
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and quality standards
