Job summary

Ansell in Shah Alam, Malaysia is seeking a QA Assistant to support the quality management system by updating documentation and ensuring regulatory and customer requirements are met.

You will work with cross-functional teams on document control, audits, and compliance with GMP and ISO standards, contributing to safer, better quality products for industrial and consumer applications.

Qualifications

• Diploma in a related engineering or science field.
• Experience with document control and quality systems is desirable.
• Good understanding of GMP/ISO requirements and regulatory expectations.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute document control for new, revised, and obsolete documents to ensure good documentation practice.
• Assist in updating packing configurations and quality-related documents as needed.
• Monitor product compliance (REACH, Prop 65, heavy metals) via supplier declarations.
• Support internal audits and corrective action follow-ups.
• Coordinate NEBB recertification to ensure cleanroom performance per ISO.
• Participate in regular GMP internal audits to ensure GMP compliance.
• Assist QA inspectors with SOP adherence and safety training.
• Support HSE initiatives in the plant.

Ansell is looking for a QA Assistant to join our team in Shah Alam, Malaysia.

In this position you will play a vital role in responsible to assist in ensuring the efficiency of quality management system in the company by updating document related to requirement of standard, regulatory and customer. Work with all levels of cross functional on the document control and audit follow up accordance with good documentation practice and good manufacturing practice.

Responsibility: -

• Executing document control for all new, revised, obsoleted document (procedure, work instruction, form template, specification, packaging artwork, etc) to ensure good documentation practice.
• To assist in establishing/updating packing configuration and quality related document (procedure, work instruction, specification, etc) when necessary.
• To monitor the products compliance such as REACH, Prop 65, heavy metal and etc by coordinating on the declaration letter with supplier.
• To assist in following up with respective team on the internal audit gap to ensure the corrective action are taken.
• To assist in coordinating on NEBB recertification to ensure the cleanroom performance adhering to ISO standard
• To participate in regular internal GMP audit to ensure the plant is complying with GMP requirement
• To assist in training QA inspector strictly adherence to SOP and safety requirement.
• To assist plant in Safety, Health and Environment initiatives.

• Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Quality Management, Applied Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology and any related fields
• Proficiency in Microsoft Words & Excel (data analysis, charts) and PowerPoint.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Analytical thinking and able to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn, flexible to adapt and to cope with different tasks simultaneously
