Nippon Express (M) Sdn Bhd in Johor is seeking an experienced Outdoor Sales Logistics Manager to lead regional sales and oversee logistics operations from our Tanjung Pelepas base.

You will develop and execute sales strategies, build new customers, nurture key accounts, and motivate the sales team to meet targets and KPIs while ensuring seamless service delivery. Travel for client visits is required.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in sales management in logistics or supply chain.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Logistics, or SCM.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of logistics operations and freight management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client-relations skills; English and Malay fluent; Mandarin an advantage.
• Willing to travel for customer visits and outdoor sales.

About the role

Nippon Express (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced and dynamic Outdoor Sales Logistics Manager to join our team in Tanjung Pelepas, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in driving our sales operations and logistics management across the region. As Outdoor Sales Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies whilst managing logistics operations to ensure seamless service delivery to our clients. This role combines strategic sales leadership with operational excellence, making it essential to our continued growth and market competitiveness.

Key responsibilities

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve Company sales targets.

Develop new customers and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.

Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and KPIs.

Conduct customer visits, networking, and business development activities to expand market opportunities.

Monitor sales performance, resolve customer issues, and ensure compliance with Company policies and requirements.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer needs.

What we're looking for

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the logistics, transportation or supply chain industry

Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving business growth

Strong understanding of logistics operations, freight management and supply chain processes

Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships

Fluency in English and Malay; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage

Willing to travel for customer visits and outdoor sales activities
