Job summary

TT Freight Group Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru is seeking a senior sales and operations leader to direct the Johor region. You will drive revenue, manage profits, and control costs while expanding cross-border opportunities with Singapore and other markets.

The role demands a hands-on, independent leader capable of guiding sales, customer service, warehouse and delivery teams, and delivering robust regional P&L performance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing or supply-chain operations.
• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience.
• Experience managing both Sales and Operations is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of revenue, gross profit, operating costs and P&L management.
• Fluent in English; Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin speakers encouraged for cross-border customers.
• Hands-on, results-oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall Sales and Operations performance of the Johor region.
• Take responsibility for regional revenue, gross profit, operating expenses and profitability.
• Develop new logistics customers and business opportunities in Johor.
• Lead local sales activities, customer visits, quotations and business-development pipelines.
• Manage daily warehouse, delivery, collection, cargo handling and customer-service operations.
• Coordinate cargo movements between Johor, Kuala Lumpur and other regions.
• Develop local delivery, warehousing, transportation, backhaul and cross-border business.
• Lead and manage the Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse and Delivery teams.
• Monitor service quality, delivery performance, cargo claims, customer complaints and operating costs.
• Prepare weekly and monthly Sales, Operations and regional P&L reports.
• Implement SOPs, cost controls, safety requirements and performance-improvement actions.
• Identify opportunities for Singapore–Malaysia cross-border logistics development.
• Recommend additional manpower, vehicles or investment based on actual business volume and profitability.

• Able to communicate effectively in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers and stakeholders.
• Must be hands‑on, results‑oriented and capable of working independently.
