Job summary

Transmedic Healthcare Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Sales Specialist to drive uptake of new surgical treatment paradigms and foster strong relationships with doctors, nurses and purchasing staff.

You will manage customer data, ensure timely CRM updates, provide clinical support to ophthalmic practices, and contribute to accurate forecasting and market intelligence. The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience and solid communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive uptake of new ophthalmic treatment paradigms with cross-functional teams.
• Manage customer database; update Sales Manager and Country Manager on customers.
• Provide prompt customer service, resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain CRM/pipeline records; submit forecasts on time.
• Provide clinical support to ophthalmic practices; assess needs to improve outcomes.
• Assist practices analyze outcomes and train staff on biometry techniques.
• Monitor competitor activity to stay competitive.
• Account management: build relationships with doctors, nurses, OT staff, purchasers.
• New business development: prospect new accounts and cross-sell.
• Demonstrate product and clinical competency; communicate accurate product info.
