Role Description

The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Penang, Malaysia. This role oversees day-to-day logistics operations, including scheduling, routing, and coordination of transport activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services. The Operations Manager monitors performance metrics, manages resource allocation, and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and service quality. Responsibilities include supervising and coaching operational staff, collaborating with customer service and sales teams, resolving operational issues, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations. The role also involves reporting on operational performance, supporting strategic planning, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably within logistics, transportation, or supply chain environments.
• Strong skills in planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
