Job summary

BOYE Supply Chain management Co. ltd in Malaysia seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead warehousing, transportation, import-export customs clearance, and customer service, driving standardized systems and cost controls for end-to-end delivery efficiency.

You will guide warehouse, fleet, and customer service teams, report to the Country General Manager, and implement KPI dashboards with continuous improvement across functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of logistics operations experience.
• At least 3+ years of team management experience.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing, transportation, and customs clearance.
• Proficient in WMS/ERP/TMS systems and SOP development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and guide the Warehouse Manager on receiving, dispatch, cycle counting, and full warehouse workflows
• Review warehouse SOPs and layout plans; enforce 5S standards and workplace safety; ensure inventory accuracy ≥ 99%
• Manage local fleet and third-party transport resources; develop transport plans and route optimization strategies
• Control transport costs, improve vehicle loading ratio and on-time delivery rate; handle transportation exceptions
• Lead the customer service team; establish customer order handling, shipment tracking, and exception response workflows
• Review operational reports, reconcile receivables/payables data, and support finance with settlement
• Build operational KPI systems and review performance data regularly
• Drive process standardization and continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce unit operating costs
• Set goals, conduct performance reviews, and train the Warehouse Manager and customer service team
• Report operational KPI achievement to the Country General Manager and liaise with HQ finance and admin teams on cross-functional matters

Job description

As the head of operations for the Malaysia branch, you will own the annual operational targets set by the Country General Manager. You will oversee warehousing, transportation & distribution, import-export customs clearance, and customer service functions. You will build standardized operational systems, control operational costs, and ensure end-to-end project and customer delivery efficiency. You will manage the warehouse, transportation, and customer service teams, reporting directly to the Country General Manager.

Key responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse operations and guide the Warehouse Manager on receiving, dispatch, cycle counting, and full warehouse workflows

Review warehouse SOPs and layout plans; enforce 5S standards and workplace safety; ensure inventory accuracy ≥ 99%

About you

High personal ethics and professionalism; zero tolerance for fraud or conflicts of interest

Full-process knowledge of warehousing, transportation, customs clearance, and customer documentation

Proficient in WMS/ERP/TMS systems; SOP development and process improvement skills

5+ years of logistics operations experience, including 3+ years of team management

Knowledge of Malaysian local transport market and customs procedures is preferred

Automotive parts supply chain, 3PL, or overseas warehouse experience is preferred

Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese proficiency are a plus
