Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Team Leader or similar in warehouse, transport or logistics.
• Strong leadership and people management to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels.
• Solid health and safety knowledge applicable to the industry.
• Familiar with basic computer skills and operational management systems.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset with good decisions under pressure.
• Knowledge of quality control and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Certifications in supervisory management or health and safety are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of operatives, ensuring policy and safety compliance.
• Plan and organise daily work activities to meet production or logistics targets.
• Monitor performance and productivity, identify improvements and implement actions.
• Conduct induction and on-the-job training for new team members.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, attendance and incidents.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote safety culture.
• Communicate performance and challenges to senior management.
• Address performance issues and conduct disciplinary discussions when needed.
• Foster a positive team environment and drive continuous improvement.
• Support resolution of operational challenges and escalate complex issues.
