Job summary

DHL Express (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Service Centre operative at KLIA. The role involves sorting and handling shipments, processing documentation, and coordinating daily courier pickups to ensure timely deliveries.

You will work in an international environment, require basic English and Bahasa Malaysia skills, and contribute to secure, efficient operations in KLIA. Training and career growth are available within DHL’s network.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness and empathy in daily work.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.
• SPM or equivalent educational certification is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipment sorting, loading and unloading per procedures.
• Process documentation: manifesting, bagging and status updates.
• Handle over-the-counter payments following procedures.
• Dispatch pickup and delivery information and schedules.
• Process inbound shipments for courier availability.
• Secure undelivered shipments per security policies.
• Process outbound shipments per current processes and guidelines.
• Carry out administrative tasks for service centre operations.
• Support adherence to operational practices and service standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely execution of tasks.
• Monitor subcontractor performance to maintain quality.
• Maintain accuracy and productivity in daily tasks.

YOUR TASKS

• Perform shipment sorting, loading and unloading activities in accordance with operational procedures.
• Process shipment documentation accurately, including manifesting, bagging, and updating shipment status information.
• Handle and secure over-the-counter payments in compliance with company procedures.
• Dispatch pick-up and delivery information promptly and arrange daily courier pick-up schedules.
• Process inbound shipments upon arrival and ensure shipments are made available to couriers for delivery.
• Ensure undelivered shipments are secured and handled according to security policies and procedures.
• Process outbound shipments in accordance with the latest operational processes and guidelines.
• Carry out administrative tasks required for the smooth operation of the Service Centre.
• Support the implementation and compliance of operational practices, procedures, and service standards.
• Coordinate and work closely with subcontractors to ensure timely execution of operational activities.
• Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure service quality and operational standards are consistently met.
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in daily operational activities while meeting productivity and service targets.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

YOUR PROFILE

• Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness and empathy.
• At least SPM or equivalent and above
• Good Spoken and Written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
