Job summary

DHL Express Malaysia invites a motivated Bachelor’s degree student to join our six‑month Internship in Operations Admin in Penang. You will assist with entry/ customs permits, vendor invoice processing, and gate pass administration within a dynamic airport cargo environment.

Gain hands-on experience in export declarations, facility management, and interdepartmental coordination while receiving mentoring from a global logistics leader.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree student in Operations Management, Transportation & Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Customs & Trade Compliance.
• CGPA 3.00 and above.
• Final year student preferred.

Responsibilities

• Being responsible to prepare entry/ customs permits for visitors, vendors & goods to enter the airport cargo area.
• Manage facility supplies inventory and order/ replace as needed.
• Manage the process of export customs declaration form return to customers on a daily basis.
• Handle customs and handling agent payment process and issue cheques as needed.
• Manage the process and documentation related to vendor Invoices, purchase orders and goods receipt notes.
• Manage the gate pass application process for all DHL staff & vehicles entering the gateway facility.
• Coordinate facility activities and events with the management team on employee engagement activity.
• Responsible to obtain/ renew facility operating licenses and prepare & submit the required documentation (to be done annually).
• Other administrative tasks such as manage shared folders, update organization charts as needed, work with Human Resources on new / renewal DHL identity cards etc.

YOUR PROFILE

Minimum Bachelor's degree student in Operations Management, Transportation & Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Customs & Trade Compliance.

Minimum CGPA 3.00 and above

Preferably Final year student.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Microsoft World, Excel, Power Point andgenerative AI prompting would be an added advantage.

Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in English language: Native speaker level, both written and spoken.
