Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Operations Planner based in Simpang Pulai to coordinate transportation providers and ensure prompt movement of shipments. You will respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to proper channels, review purchase orders and shipping documents for accuracy, and make special shipping arrangements as necessary.

Additionally, you will track shipping errors, manage distribution budgets, and develop processes to improve supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
• Fluent or proficient in Mandarin, Malay and English; Mandarin preferred for client communication.

OPERATION PLANNER (Based in Simpang Pulai)

Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments

Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels

Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy

Making special shipping arrangements as necessary

Tracking and fixing shipping errors

Managing distribution and shipment budgets

Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards

Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized

Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations

Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively

Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures

Recruit and coordinate logistics staff (e.g. truck drivers) according to availabilities and requirements

Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction

Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements

Requirements

Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes

Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)

Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Good command in Mandarin/Malay/English. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
