Job summary

EVE Energy Malaysia Sdn Bhd – Kulim, Kedah is seeking a transportation planner to oversee large-volume equipment shipments. The role involves planning routes, selecting transport modes, and supervising the end-to-end shipment process to ensure timely delivery and cargo integrity.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of shipping operations experience, strong knowledge of international shipping processes and Incoterms 2010, and fluency in Mandarin, English, and Malay.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of experience in shipping operation.
• Understanding of international shipping processes and Incoterms 2010.
• Understanding of customs clearance processes.
• Fluent in Mandarin, English and Malay.
• Mandarin-speaking candidates preferred for Mandarin-speaking customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan overall transportation for large-volume equipment and confirm optimal delivery routes and modes.
• Set loading standards by cargo category and supervise the shipment process to ensure quality and cargo integrity.
• Monitor real-time shipping market conditions (freight rates, vessel schedules) and adjust schedules accordingly.
• Design standardized material delivery routes and build transportation cost models to control expenditure.

Conduct overall transportation planning for large-volume equipment, confirm optimal delivery routes and transport modes to meet project milestone deadlines.

Formulate dedicated transportation requirements and loading standards by cargo category, supervise whole shipment process to guarantee transport quality and cargo integrity.

Monitor real-time shipping market conditions including freight rates and vessel schedules, adjust shipment schedule and container stowage plan dynamically.

Be proficient in multimodal transport solutions, design standardized material delivery routes and build logistics cost calculation models to control overall transportation expenditure.

Priority will be given to those with IMDG/IATA certificate

Professional experience

• Min [5] years of experience in shipping operation.
