Local Assembly Sdn Bhd is seeking a diligent Production Planner to handle and monitor customer orders, schedule production, and manage material requirements. The role involves issuing POs, maintaining shipment plans, and coordinating with production to meet delivery schedules.
The candidate should have 1–3 years in production or material planning, strong data-entry skills, and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems. Fresh graduates with a relevant Diploma are welcome to apply.

Handle and monitor customer orders, including Scheduling Agreements.
Issue Purchase Orders (POs) for raw materials based on production requirements.
Perform system transactions and issue relevant documents, including Job Entry, Pick List (MRF), Kitting Issue, and Job Received.
Prepare and update the shipment plan for each shipment.
Plan production operations for assigned products to meet customer requirements and delivery schedules.
Prepare and issue export details for each shipment.
Prepare and update the actual shipment quantity for every shipment.
Perform system key-in for incoming parts/materials.
Liaise closely with the Production Department to finalize shipment plans and coordinate any changes or adjustments.
Match Supplier Delivery Orders (DOs) and Invoices and submit the necessary documents to the Accounts Department.
Maintain and update inventory records and data in the system.
Assist in creating and maintaining Bill of Materials (BOM) for new part numbers.
Prepare and monitor product production schedules to ensure timely completion and delivery.
Perform other planning and administrative duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.
Requirements
Education: SPM or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in production planning, material planning, logistics, or a related manufacturing environment.
Good computer and data-entry skills, with knowledge of ERP/MRP systems being an advantage.
Good communication, coordination, analytical and organizational skills.
Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Fresh graduates with a relevant Diploma may also be considered.
