Job summary

GMP Kaisar Security (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Operation Manager to oversee day-to-day security operations across branches, develop and implement departmental policies, and coordinate with clients and government departments. The role reports to the Board and emphasizes disciplined, professional execution of duties.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, the position offers a full-time role with Monday–Friday work schedule and a monthly salary range of RM3,000–RM3,500. Prior experience in operations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Set and implement Operations Department policies and procedures in accordance with company’s policy.
• Responsible for the day-to-day operations overall Security Department, controlling supervisors and guards.
• Responsible to the recruitment and power planning of security personnel as required for the Company.
• Conduct vetting and background checks before employment and that no illegal is employed.
• Enforcement of discipline for all controlling supervisors, guards, operation officer and patrolling officer with speculated.
• Reports all incidents and security matter to Board of the Company.
• Training of employment internal/external in line with organization/department needs.
• Conduct security audit quarterly to all regions branches and submit report to Managing Director.
• Liaise and coordinate with the department and client on related security matter.
• Assist General Manager in managing matter related to new projects

Operation Manager

Major Functions :

Assist in developing operational policies and procedures for the company. Major functions are operational planning, development and implementation all operational matters and coordinating the administration and logistic needs to sustain operational activities accordance to company vision and mission.

To manage the full spectrum of the Company’s security operations including branches.

Report to Board of the Company, you are too diligent, professionally and whole-heartedly carry out the duties and responsibilities as determined by the Company.

Essential Functions:

Setting and implementing Operations Department policies and procedures in accordance with company’s policy.

Responsible for the day-to-day operations overall Security Department, controlling supervisors and guards.

Responsible to the recruitment and power planning of security personnel as required for the Company.

Conduct vetting and background checks before employment and that no illegal is employed.

Enforcement of discipline for all controlling supervisors, guards, operation officer and patrolling officer with speculated.

Reports all incidents and security matter Board of the Company.

Training of employment internal/external in line with organization/department needs.

Conduct security audit quarterly to all regions branches and submit report to Managing Director.

Liaise and coordinate with the department and client on related security matter.

Liaison with government department and clients on related security matter.

Assist and advise all region/branch Manager/Officer when given new on coordination new assignment.

Assist in coordinating the region/branches budgeted sales as targeted and review the achievement every quarter.

Assist in resolving company’s vehicle maintenance or other relevant matters involving vehicle.

Assist on any matters pertaining company’s firearms and ammunitions.

Consolidate the preparation of reports as are deemed necessary to carry out functions of department. Fully responsible to prepare periodic reports to top management, as necessary or requested.

Ensure submission of Operations Report on weekly and monthly.

Ensure proper invoices and collection of project payments.

Oversee that the Security License is smoothly renewed.

Ensuring the Carry and Use License application is applied accordingly.

Develop marketing strategy for both static and armed guards.

To effectively attend to complaints from client to avoid to credit note.

Assist in planning and improving the quality of security services provided to customers.

To establish and maintain a close rapport with the clients.

Assist General Manager in managing matter related to new projects

Additional Responsibilities:

To carry out other duties assigned by Managing Director/ Director/ Group Manager/ General Manager.

To abide and comply with company’s standing order and any instruction, memorandum that may be issued from time to time pertinent to your duties and responsibilities.

The company is wholly owned by Bumiputera and also registered Bumiputera contractor with the Ministry of Finance Malaysia. The acronym GMP was formed from our slogan, Global Manpower Provider. Thus, when GMP Kaisar Security (M) Sdn Bhd was conceptualized, our initial objective was to be the “One of the forerunning manpower provider, in the country.”
