About the role

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Guard to join our team on a full-time basis, based in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our clients' premises. Your presence and vigilance will be fundamental in protecting people, property, and assets from potential threats and unauthorised access. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic security environment where your professionalism and attention to detail will directly contribute to the safety and peace of mind of those you protect.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises and surrounding areas to identify and respond to security threats or unusual activities
• Monitor and control access to facilities, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs in accordance with security protocols
• Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control equipment
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, following established procedures and escalation protocols
• Maintain detailed incident reports and security logs, documenting all relevant events and observations during shifts
• Conduct property inspections to identify security weaknesses, maintenance issues, or safety hazards
• Communicate effectively with clients, management, and emergency services, providing clear information when required
• Enforce company security policies and client requirements, ensuring compliance from all personnel on premises
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanour at all times, representing KONSULTAN KHIDMAT SETIA with integrity
• Stay alert and focused throughout shifts, remaining prepared to respond to any security-related situation

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Security Guard or in a similar security or protective services role
• Excellent observational skills with the ability to identify potential security threats and unusual behaviour
• Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform regular patrols and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Knowledge of security systems, surveillance equipment, and access control procedures
• A clean criminal record and the ability to pass security vetting procedures
• Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to adhere to strict shift schedules
• Professional attitude with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion
• First Aid or CPR certification would be an advantage
• Familiarity with incident reporting systems and documentation procedures
