P&N INDUSTRIAL TRADING SDN BHD is seeking an Operations Coordinator to manage daily machinery delivery, deployment, collection and on-site activities in Malaysia. You will monitor machine availability, maintenance schedules and coordinate with technicians, drivers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires a diploma in engineering, 1–2 years of relevant experience, and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in operations, machinery, maintenance, or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of machinery operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic inspection.
• Able to coordinate with customers, technicians, drivers, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Good problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines.
• Willing to travel to customer sites and work outdoors when required.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Holder of a valid driving licence and willing to travel for work

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations for machinery delivery, deployment, collection and site activities.
• Monitor machine availability, condition, maintenance and repair schedules to minimise downtime.
• Conduct site inspections and assess machinery requirements, site conditions and operational needs.
• Coordinate with technicians, drivers, customers, Sales and Rental teams to ensure smooth machinery operations.
• Handle and follow up on machinery breakdowns, technical issues and customer complaints.
• Prepare service reports, inspection reports, job scopes and technical documentation.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, servicing, spare parts and repair works with the relevant teams.
• Ensure machinery is safe, operational and compliant with company requirements before deployment.
• Monitor rental schedules, machine return conditions and utilisation.
• Maintain accurate records of machinery, maintenance, inspections, repairs and operational activities

About you

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in operations, machinery, equipment, maintenance, engineering or a related industry

Strong knowledge of machinery operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and basic technical inspection

Able to coordinate effectively with customers, technicians, drivers, suppliers and internal departments

Good problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills

Able to manage multiple operational tasks and meet deadlines

Willing to travel to customer sites and work outdoors when required

Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word

Possess a valid driving licence and be willing to travel for work-related assignments
