Job summary

Businesslist is seeking an Account Executive to manage day-to-day airfreight export and import operations from the Mount Austin area. You will coordinate with airlines, forwarders, transporters, and customs, while ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery of shipments.

The role requires hands-on experience with AWB, permits, and declarations, plus strong communication with customers and vendors. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Johor with standard 8:30am–5:30pm hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day airfreight export and import operations.

• Track cargo movements to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers and vendors about shipment status.

Position: Account Executive

Headcount: 1

Remuneration: Up to RM3500

Working hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm (Mon - Fri)

Location: Mount Austin

Job Descriptions:

• Manage day-to-day airfreight export and import operations
• Coordinate effectively with airlines, freight forwarders, transporters, and customs authorities
• Prepare and review shipping documents, including Air Waybills (AWB), export/import permits, and declarations
• Track and monitor cargo movements to ensure timely and accurate delivery
• Maintain clear and proactive communication with customers and vendors regarding shipment status
• Ensure full compliance with Dangerous Goods handling and airfreight regulatory requirements
• Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the shipping process
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our air export operations and processes
• Work closely with the Customer Service team to secure and manage shipment bookings
• Organize and schedule timely pickup of cargo from customers, ensuring smooth and efficient handling
