About the role We are seeking an Operation Clerk/Assistant to join the team at JV Transport Sdn Bhd, based in Sungai Lokan, Penang. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation. As Operation Clerk/Assistant, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our daily logistics operations run seamlessly, documentation and to coordination with our operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor shipments and deliveries.
• Prepare shipping documents and maintaining accurate documentation for shipments.
• Track orders and update shipment status within the team.
• Supporting the coordination of loading and unloading activities at the distribution facility
• Liaising with drivers, customers, and operational staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of goods
• Resolve delivery issues, delays and discrepancies.
• Maintaining general cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse and office areas
• Assisting with basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and telephone inquiries
