Job summary

DEBU SUCI (M) SDN BHD is seeking a logistics-focused professional to manage daily container truck haulage, plan driver trips, and monitor movements via GPS. The role requires coordinating with depots, ports, and customers to ensure timely deliveries and accurate reporting.

Successful candidates will maintain SOP compliance, handle operational issues, and may operate a forklift as needed. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or operations is a plus, but not required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of container trucks/haulage.
• Plan and schedule drivers' trips according to company and customer requirements.
• Monitor truck movements through the GPS system and ensure timely deliveries.
• Liaise with depots, ports, and customers.
• Prepare daily and weekly operational reports.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, road safety regulations, and transportation laws.
• Handle operational issues including breakdowns, delays, or other technical matters.
• Operate forklift when required.
• Assist with other operational tasks when necessary.
• Answer phone calls and messages related to container delivery and collection.
• Record container collection and delivery transactions in the haulage system and relevant port systems.

• Manage the daily operations of container trucks/haulage.
• Plan and schedule drivers' trips according to company and customer requirements.
• Monitor truck movements through the GPS system and ensure timely deliveries.
• Liaise with depots, ports (Johor Port, PTP, West Port, North Port), and customers.
• Prepare daily and weekly operational reports.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, road safety regulations, and transportation laws.
• Handle operational issues including breakdowns, delays, or other technical matters.
• Operate forklift when required.
• Assist with other operational tasks when necessary.
• Answer phone calls and messages related to container delivery and collection.
• Report any issues related to drivers, containers, or vehicles to the Supervisor or Head of Department for necessary action.
• Record container collection and delivery transactions in the haulage system and relevant port systems.
