Private Advertiser is seeking a Manufacturing & Production Technician to support daily operations across production, assembly, quality inspection, testing, packing, and material handling. Training will be provided, and employees may be assigned to different workstations depending on operational needs.

The Manufacturing & Production Technician is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations across production, assembly, quality inspection, product testing, packing, and material handling activities. The role requires hands‑on involvement throughout different stages of the production process to ensure products are assembled, inspected, tested, and prepared according to established quality standards and production requirements. Training will be provided, and employees may be assigned to different workstations depending on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Perform electronic and mechanical assembly, sub‑assembly, component fitting, fastening, wiring, labelling, and related production activities according to work instructions and specifications.
Carry out soldering and rework of electronic components, wires, connectors, and related parts, including wire cutting, stripping, crimping, cable assembly, and heat‑shrink work.
Operate production tools, soldering equipment, basic machinery, jigs, fixtures, and testing equipment safely and correctly.
Conduct incoming, in‑process, and final quality inspections to ensure materials and finished products meet required specifications and workmanship standards.
Perform visual, dimensional, functional, electrical, and continuity testing using designated measuring tools, test equipment, or software where applicable.
Identify, segregate, and report defective or non‑conforming materials and products, and assist with rework or corrective actions when required.
Accurately record production, inspection, testing, serial number, and traceability information in the relevant records or systems.
Prepare finished products for packing and shipment, ensuring the correct accessories, labels, documentation, and protective packaging are included.
Support warehouse activities including receiving, storing, issuing, material preparation, inventory counting, stock movement, and handling of raw materials and finished goods.
Maintain proper handling and storage of electronic, ESD‑sensitive, and other production materials.
Maintain workplace cleanliness, organisation, and 5S standards throughout production and warehouse areas.
Follow all applicable safety procedures, PPE requirements, ESD controls, equipment guidelines, and material‑handling procedures.
Support daily production output, quality, efficiency, and yield targets while participating in continuous improvement activities.
Perform other production and manufacturing‑related duties assigned by the supervisor based on operational requirements.
Requirements
Certificate, SKM, or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline will be an added advantage.
Previous experience in electronics manufacturing, production assembly, soldering, quality control, testing, or warehouse operations is preferred but not mandatory.
Fresh graduates and candidates without prior manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply, as training will be provided.
Basic soldering skills or knowledge of electronic components will be an advantage.
Able to understand and follow SOPs, work instructions, drawings, BOMs, and basic technical specifications.
Familiarity with basic measuring tools and production or testing equipment is an advantage.
Basic computer skills, including Excel or inventory/ERP systems, are beneficial for relevant functions.
Good attention to detail with a responsible, disciplined, and quality‑conscious working attitude.
Able to work effectively both independently and within a production team.
Physically fit and able to perform standing production work and material‑handling activities where required.
Willing to work shifts, overtime, weekends, or additional hours according to production requirements.
