Job summary

MyPath in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and optimize daily operations. You will manage resources, monitor quality and output, and drive continuous improvement across shifts.

The role requires coordinating teams, reviewing production data, and enforcing safety and policy standards. Ideal candidates have leadership experience in a high-paced factory, a degree or diploma in a relevant field, and English/Bahasa Malaysia communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage resources to achieve production target, quality, yield, output and cost goals.
• Manage the performance, motivation, and satisfaction of the production team and processes to ensure key quality, output and efficiency are met.
• Do shift production plan and set goal for each insertion based on weekly commitment goal.
• Prepare and review daily production report.
• Lead team to pursue continuous productivity and 5S/discipline/quality improvement through QCC/SGA team.
• Solve and feedback line abnormal issues appropriately.
• Ensure operators work complying spec and company policy.
• Coordinate to hold cross function team Tier2 meeting successfully.
• Rate line employees’ monthly performance fairly and encourage people to do better; Coaching and training line people to improve their performance better.

Requirement

• Must Have:
• -Education:Degree, Diploma, Advanced/Higher Diploma or Degree in any field, preferably in mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic/ Operation Management.
• Language: Good oral and written skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Experience:0~6 years' work experience including 0~3 years' manufacturing operation expertise experience in a high paced environment.
• With Mechanical / Electric engineering or Computer Science or Management background.
• With strong leadership, have experience or potential on People management, Able to supervise Engineering Assistants and Operators.
• Independent, resourceful and takes initiative, able to cooperation with other department
• Project management skills & familiar with office tools.
