ARSM MAJU ENTERPRISE is seeking a freelance/part-time IT Technician to install, configure and support POS systems at customer premises in Penang. You will handle network setup, POS hardware, printers and on-site troubleshooting with a focus on delivering reliable service.

The ideal candidate holds an IT-related certificate or degree and can travel to clients, working independently with strong communication and customer service skills. Training and equipment support provided.

Qualifications

Certificate, Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, networking, Wi-Fi, LAN and Bluetooth.
Able to travel to customer locations and work independently; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and set up POS systems at customer premises.
Install and configure POS software and related applications.
Set up and troubleshoot Wi-Fi and network connectivity, including basic LAN configuration.
Configure and connect POS hardware and peripherals.
Set up POS printers (LAN/Bluetooth) and troubleshoot printers.
Configure Bluetooth devices and connections.
Perform system testing to ensure POS software works with hardware.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, network and connectivity issues.
Provide on-site technical support and guidance to customers.
