Job summary
Natural Avenue Sdn Bhd is seeking a technically skilled field technician to perform preventive maintenance on POS systems and related equipment. The role involves diagnosing POS issues, bench repairs, and on-site installation and configuration at customer locations.
The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Electronics/IT related fields with hands-on experience in network cabling, routers/switches, and CCTV/IP phone installation.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Electronics & Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Hands-on experience in network cabling installation, termination, testing and troubleshooting.
- Experience with routers, switches and network equipment setup and configuration.
- Experience with hardware installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience with POS terminal installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience with CCTV and IP phone installation and basic network configuration.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on POS and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve POS equipment failures and technical complaints within the required response time.
- Perform bench repair, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic and POS equipment.
- Install, configure, and commission POS equipment at customer sites.
- Install and terminate POS network cabling, including testing and troubleshooting.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV systems, IP phones, and other network-connected equipment.
- Set up and troubleshoot routers, switches, and other network equipment.
- Provide onsite technical support and assist with other technical tasks as required.
