Job summary

Lusama J&S Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to oversee construction projects from start to finish. The role requires strong coordination, leadership, and a solid background in construction management to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and up to quality standards.

The successful candidate will liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers, develop detailed schedules, and lead site teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction site or project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, site safety, and drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision making.
• Proficient in MS Office and project management software; able to develop progress reports.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site operations to keep projects on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to meet specs and timelines.
• Manage safety policies and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Develop detailed project schedules and allocate manpower and materials efficiently.
• Document progress reports, work programs and schedules; provide updates to management and client.
• Supervise site teams, subcontractors, and workers to ensure smooth project execution.
