Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Office IT Executives (Georgetown) to support internal users with IT issues, perform problem solving, and assist with desktop setups in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle routine maintenance, asset management, and vendor liaison while developing IT skills and contributing to technology upgrades across the office.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in IT or equivalent.
• 3 years minimum experience in Helpdesk support role or related experience.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• High level of self-motivation and accountability.
• Strong foundation in Windows Desktop Operating System.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, and common desktop applications.
• Knowledge in basic security and networking concepts.
• Understanding of Wi-Fi technologies is an added advantage.
• Willingness to learn and grow in an IT support environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team.
• Applicant must be willing to travel and possess own transport.

Responsibilities

• Respond to helpdesk calls and emails from internal users with IT related issues and resolve in an efficient and timely manner.
• Perform first level diagnose and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
• Perform initial setups of desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system maintenance, updates, and antivirus check.
• Manage IT asset inventory, documentation, and Helpdesk records.
• Assist with the deployment of new technologies and upgrades.
• Document technical procedures and create user guides.
• Liaise with external vendors for repairs or upgrades.
• Provide after office hours standby if deemed fit.
