Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking Office IT Executives in Georgetown to respond to helpdesk requests, diagnose hardware and software issues, and set up desktops and peripherals. You will perform routine maintenance, manage assets, and assist with upgrades, while documenting procedures for end users.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in IT, at least 3 years in a helpdesk role, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a willingness to travel with your own transport.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT or equivalent.
• 3 years minimum experience in Helpdesk or related IT support.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, accountable, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel and own transport.
• Knowledge of Windows Desktop OS and common desktop apps.

Responsibilities

• Respond to helpdesk calls and emails from internal users.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Set up desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Perform routine system maintenance and antivirus checks.
• Manage IT asset inventory, documentation, and helpdesk records.
• Assist with deployment of new technologies and upgrades.
• Document procedures and create user guides.
• Liaise with external vendors for repairs or upgrades.
• Provide after-hours standby as required.
