Job summary

Career Wise is seeking a seasoned Business Development professional to win new OEM accounts across Southeast Asia and international markets. You will identify opportunities, craft compelling proposals, and lead end-to-end deal cycles from prospecting to contract closure.

The role emphasizes hunter sales over account management, requiring strong technical and commercial acumen, excellent communication, and willingness to travel 40–60% to develop relationships and close new business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in Business Development or OEM/Industrial sales.
• Proven track record in new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
• Experience selling custom-manufactured plastic components, injection molds, tooling, or engineered manufacturing solutions is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Present capabilities to OEM customers across target industries.
• Identify, prospect, and acquire new OEM customers across target industries.
• Generate new business via cold calling, networking, referrals, trade shows, and customer visits.
• Build relationships with decision-makers across Purchasing, Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain, Operations, and Executive Management.
• Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue, gross margin, pipeline growth, and new customer acquisition targets.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to contract discussions and award.
• Partner with Engineering, Tooling, Quality, PM, and Supply Chain teams on proposals.
• Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline, opportunity tracking, sales forecasts, and customer activity records.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer demand, and new business opportunities in SEA and international markets.
• Travel extensively to develop customer relationships and secure new business opportunities.
