Job summary

Bateriku is seeking a highly driven Manager of Business Development to spearhead and scale its automotive OEM business across Malaysia. You will open doors with passenger-car, commercial-vehicle, EV OEMs and craft strategic partnerships from Introduction to signed contracts and implementation.

The role requires 5–10+ years in automotive OEM or B2B development, a proven network in Malaysia, and a hands-on, fast-execution mindset.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years' experience in automotive OEM or related B2B business development.
• Strong existing or developing network within Malaysia's automotive industry is advantageous.
• Resourceful, commercially aggressive, accountable and able to execute with speed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute OEM BD strategy and pipeline.
• Identify, engage and secure partnerships with passenger-car, commercial-vehicle, EV and mobility OEMs.
• Build relationships with OEM senior management across Aftersales, Customer Experience, Warranty, Network Development, Mobility and Procurement.
• Develop commercial propositions covering: Nationwide Roadside Assistance (RSA), Battery supply, installation and replacement, Towing and accident assistance, Mobile diagnostics and technical assistance, BGarage workshop/service network, EV roadside and technical support, Nationwide field-service solutions, Digital/API integration with OEM platforms.
• Lead RFQ/RFP/tender submissions, commercial negotiations and contract closure.
• Coordinate internally with Operations, Technology, Finance, Legal and Customer Experience to ensure commercial promises can be delivered operationally.
• Develop strategic account plans to expand successful OEM relationships into multiple revenue streams.
• Maintain a disciplined pipeline with clear targets, milestones, probability of closure and revenue potential.
