Job summary

Dell Technologies Malaysia is seeking a Process Development Engineer (New Product Introduction) to join our Global Operations Engineering team in Penang. You will drive the timely introduction of new enterprise products to manufacturing, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and ramp plan adherence.

You will develop production methods, lead process improvements, and coordinate cross-functional teams across Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Test domains to resolve issues and meet targets.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in NPI/Manufacturing Engineering (Junior) or 5-8 years (Senior).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of Python, VBA programming.
• Strong project management and organizational skills; able to communicate at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely introduction of new enterprise class products to manufacturing at required quality and ramp plan.
• Develop and implement production/processing methods and controls to meet quality at lowest cost.
• Lead engineering changes to sustaining products; manage pilot qualification builds.
• Drive process quality improvements and cost reduction; perform risk assessment and mitigation.
