Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking an experienced NPI & Process Engineer to drive new product introduction and manufacturing readiness. You will develop and optimize processes for CNC machining, welding and assembly, review specs, and ensure transfer to production meets quality targets.

The role requires strong knowledge of GD&T, PFMEA and DOE, with 5+ years in manufacturing or NPI, and a diploma or degree in mechanical/industrial engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience in NPI, process development and production ramp-up.
• Familiarity with machining, welding, assembly processes and quality requirements.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, PFMEA, DOE and control plans.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage and coordinate NPI activities from product intro to ramp-up.
• Review drawings, BOMs and engineering requirements to ensure manufacturability.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing process flow, routing and work instructions.
• Lead process qualification and capability studies; support supplier evaluation.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior engineers.
