Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an engineer to coordinate the introduction of new products into manufacturing, ensuring timely milestones and objectives. You will lead NPI review meetings, document actions, and drive on-time delivery during development.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor in Engineering with at least 2 years in process validation and change control, plus strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate with suppliers and customers.

Job description

• Coordinate the introduction of new products into manufacturing, ensuring adherence to project timeliness and objectives.
• Perform NPI review meeting on all incoming new FA parts. Document all the actions and close as per agreed time line.
• Support NPI production process with good quality and on time delivery.
• Provide engineering support for all activities in product development process
• Liaise with customers & suppliers on new projects.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the availability of necessary materials and components for new product manufacturing.
• Participate qualification of FA and trial run on NPIs.
• Execute process validation (IQ. OQ, PQ) and validate methods for inspection for verification and process controls during product development stage, perform data analysis and report compilation.
• Prepare process related document including process parameter, FMEA, Control plans and etc.
• Collaborate with the quality team to establish quality standards for new products and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains in the NPI process and implement appropriate changes.
• Provide technical support for all critical process during new project development;
• Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products.
• Collaborate to ensure proper documentation is completed to meet quality systems requirements.
• Drives cost reduction programs related to process or process material.
• Any other job responsibilities assigned by supervisor as and when required.

Qualification and Experience:-

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or any related field.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in process validation/ qualification, as well as Engineering Change/Change Control process.
• Must be having experience in manufacturing field.
• Must be able to lead a team.
• Able to work independently on identifying, planning, executing, reviewing and driving projects and delivering the intended results that aligning with the Company’s growth direction.
