Job summary

Job Description

• Responsible for planning and managing project timelines.
• Develop and design project process flow, ensuring manufacturing readiness (processes, production flow, tooling availability, documentation, visual aids, and training).
• Provide overall coordination of project transfer from internal and external parties.
• Develop, review, and revise processes, control plans, inspection plans, and other related documentation.
• Document lessons learned and participate in post-launch reviews.
• Ensure compliance with quality requirements such as PFMEA, Control Plan, FAI, and APQP (when applicable), and collaborate with team members on audits and technical analysis.
• Track technical, capacity, process, and material risks.
• Perform line performance capacity, yield, defect pareto, and OEE analysis.
• Responsible for BOM and routing setup.
• Lead and coordinate sample runs, trial runs, pilot builds, first builds, and first article activities, including process validation.
• Provide technical feedback and review FA results with the team, including corrective and improvement follow-up actions.
• Validate/ qualify equipment and manufacturing methods
• Coordinate and implement engineering changes (ECR/ECO/ECN).
• Track production ramp-up until stability is achieved (OTD, FPY, RTY).
• Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach in seeking new opportunities and improvements.
• Handle other tasks and duties as assigned by superior.

Authorities

• Oracle access on general engineering for BOM / Route setup and general inquiry.
• To access NPI engineering, quality related folder on server.
• EPR / Intralink / email access.
• Latest prints distribution to document control.

Qualifications

• Requirement
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in related field. Working experience in manufacturing and project handling will be an added advantage.
