Job summary

Asia Recruit is assisting a Computer Software & Networking client to fill an L2 Network Technical Engineer role in Petaling Jaya. The position involves building and supporting data networks using Cisco core and edge devices, plus providing escalation support and root-cause analysis.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in a related field, CCNA/CCNP are a plus, and have at least three years of hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and Nexu s. Strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field in network computing/communication.
• CCNA / CCNP certifications will be an added advantage.
• 3 years of experience deploying and managing network infrastructure.
• Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on network experience configuring routing protocols, switching and wireless configuration in medium / large network.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with a commitment to success.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing systems environment.
• Good command in both written and spoken English.
