Job summary

Analytx Sdn Bhd seeks an experienced L2 Network Support Engineer to oversee and optimize a large enterprise network. The role covers daily operations, troubleshooting of Cisco core and access switches, and WLC/AP management across multiple sites.

The candidate must hold an active CCNA and be adept with VLANs, STP, and basic routing; familiarity with F5 load balancers and Cisco NMS is highly valued. Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication is expected.

Qualifications

• CCNA certification is mandatory.
• Solid understanding of OSI model and TCP/IP networking.
• Experience with VLANs, STP, and basic routing protocols (OSPF/Static).
• Experience with managing F5 load balancers and enterprise Wi‑Fi environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco enterprise switches and WLCs/APs.
• Use Cisco NMS (Catalyst Center) daily to monitor health and performance.
• Manage traffic, security, and edge devices including F5 load balancer and edge firewalls.
• Perform network changes: VLANs, switchport configs, SSID deployments, firmware upgrades.
• Liaise with Cisco TAC and vendors; log tickets and coordinate RMA processes.
• Maintain accurate topology diagrams, IP schemes, inventory, and SOPs.
