Job summary

ITS MART in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Network Engineer to install and configure network infrastructure for project-based work and to support operations for routers, switches, WLAN controllers, access points, VOIP and firewalls.

You will monitor bandwidth, troubleshoot IP incidents, document network setup, and work closely with the support team to provide 1st and 2nd line technical assistance while ensuring timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or higher in IT or equivalent.

• Must have good understanding of internet technology and standards.
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must have good sense of eye on details and be able to meet deadlines.

• Must be Malaysian citizen or hold relevant residence status.

Responsibilities

• Optimize network bandwidth routes and usage.
• Troubleshoot carriage and IP incidents across customer edge equipment; manage monitoring and reporting tool entries.
• Monitor, evaluate and resolve potential network performance issues; handle infrastructure-related requests and problems.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to installation, administration and maintenance of network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with customer support team to provide 1st and 2nd line technical support and advice.

Job Responsibilities

• Network bandwidth routes and usage optimization.
• Troubleshoot carriage & IP incidents across customer edge equipment, add & remove device as needed into monitoring and reporting tools.
• Monitor, evaluate and solve potential network performance issues. Manage infrastructure‑related and other network requests and problems.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to the installation, administration and maintenance of network infrastructure.
• Work closely with the customer support team and provide 1st and 2nd level technical support and advice.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
