Job summary

Scicom MSC Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Junior Network/O&M Engineer with strong front-end skills (C#, JavaScript, TypeScript) to configure and support the RR Customer Engagement platform. You will blend technical troubleshooting with customer communication to drive issue resolution.

Responsibilities include platform configuration, front-end development, and managing import/export processes across environments.

Job description

The Position:

We are seeking a Junior Network/O&M Engineer with a strong technical background in front-end development (C#, JavaScript, TypeScript) and customer engagement platforms. This role is responsible for configuring, customizing, and supporting the RR Customer Engagement online platform. The successful candidate will blend technical troubleshooting with direct customer communication to drive issue resolution, including participating in on-call and holiday support rotations.

The Responsibilities of the Role:

• Platform Configuration: Actively configure and customize all functions within the RR Customer Engagement online platform based on business needs.
• Front-End Development & Support: Leverage strong technical skills in C#, JavaScript, Custom Control, and TypeScript to resolve front-end related technical issues.
• Solution Management: Handle Managed Solution Import/Export processes and carefully manage solution layers across environments.
• Customer Issue Resolution: Communicate directly and effectively with customers to understand problems and drive technical issues to a swift resolution.
• On-Call Operations: Participate in on-call support rotations and provide special technical support during holidays as required by the business.

The Requirement for the Role:

• Strong experience with the RR Customer Engagement online platform, including the ability to configure and customize all functions of the system.
• Strong technical proficiency in C#, JavaScript, Custom Control, TypeScript and related front-end technologies.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Managed Solution Import/Export and solution layers.
• Excellent customer service, communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers and take a driven approach to resolving their issues.
• Willingness and availability to provide on-call support and special support on holidays.

• Attractive Salary (RM 4,500 to RM 6,000).
