Job summary

Chipbond Technology Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is expanding its Penang operations and seeks a Network Engineer to maintain and optimize the company’s LAN/WAN and wireless networks.

You will monitor performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and configure routers, switches, and security devices to ensure reliable, secure connectivity across sites. The role requires a Bachelor's in Network Engineering with at least 2 years of experience, strong protocol knowledge (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, DHCP), and proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering or relevant field; min 2 years of network engineering experience
• Familiar with TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and DHCP and their operating principles
• Knowledgeable about network security technologies; able to design/implement security
• Familiar with network management and performance analysis tools such as Wireshark and SolarWinds
• Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English for Taiwan counterparts

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain the company's internal network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Monitor network performance; analyze and resolve network bottlenecks or anomalies to ensure stable network operation.
• Manage and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment.
• Conduct regular network performance tests to meet the business requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering or any relevant filed with at least 2 years of Network Engineer experiences.
• Familiar with network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and DHCP, as well as their operating principles.
• Knowledgeable about network security technologies; capable of designing and implementing network security
• Familiar with common network management and performance analysis tools, such as Wireshark and SolarWinds.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken in Mandarin, English (need to deal with Taiwan counterparts)
