Job summary

Chipbond Technology Malaysia in Penang is seeking a Network Engineer to maintain the company’s internal network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN and wireless networks.

You will monitor network performance, analyze and resolve bottlenecks to ensure stable operation, and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment. Regular performance tests will ensure business requirements are met, with Mandarin and English needed for Taiwan counterparts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software/Computer Engineering with 2+ years as Network Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, DHCP.
• Experience with network security design and implementation.
• Familiar with Wireshark and SolarWinds.
• Excellent written and spoken Mandarin and English.

Job Requirements:

1) Bachelor's degree or above in Software Engineering/ Computer Engineering, with at least 2 years of experiences working as Network Engineer.

2) Familiar with network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and DHCP, as well as their operating principles.

3. Knowledgeable about network security technologies; capable of designing and implementing network security

4. Familiar with common network management and performance analysis tools, such as Wireshark and SolarWinds.

5) Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken in Mandarin, English (need to deal with Taiwan counterparts)
