Job summary

Chipbond Technology Malaysia in Penang is seeking a Network Engineer to maintain the company’s internal network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN and wireless networks.

You will monitor network performance, analyze and resolve bottlenecks to ensure stable operation, and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment. Regular performance tests will ensure business requirements are met, with Mandarin and English needed for Taiwan counterparts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software/Computer Engineering with 2+ years as Network Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, DHCP.
• Experience with network security design and implementation.
• Familiar with Wireshark and SolarWinds.
• Excellent written and spoken Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the company's internal network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Monitor network performance; analyze and resolve bottlenecks or anomalies to ensure stable operation.
• Manage and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment.
• Conduct regular network performance tests to meet business requirements.
