Malaysia Marine & Heavy Engineering seeks an Expediting and Procurement Specialist to track vendor progress, manage documentation, and ensure on-time delivery of equipment and materials according to PO requirements and project schedules.

You will coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, QA/QC, Logistics, and Project Teams, prepare reports and dashboards, identify delays, and escalate risks to keep the project on track.

Competenze

• Diploma orBachelor’s degree in Engineering and Management fields.
• Degree education - 3 years of exp in Expediting, Procurement, Documentation control in oil & gas, heavy engineering or construction.
• Diploma education - 5 years of exp in Expediting, Procurement, Documentation control in oil & gas, heavy engineering or construction.

Mansioni

• Track supplier progress and ensure deliveries meet PO requirements, project schedules, and quality standards.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to provide timely updates and support cross-functional collaboration.
• Monitor vendor manufacturing and documentation through reports, visits, and inspections.
• Identify delays or risks and escalate to implement corrective actions.
• Manage supplier bottlenecks such as engineering holds, late approvals, or transport constraints.
• Act as a communication link between Procurement, Engineering, QA/QC, Logistics and Project Teams.
• Maintain expediting plans, supplier progress curves, and milestone charts reflecting progress.
• Prepare expediting reports, supplier visit notes, and dashboards for management/client reporting.
• Maintain records of supplier communications, commitments, and recovery plans.
• Risk management – highlight potential delivery slippages early and mitigate impact.
• MDR management – coordinate with vendors to ensure timely repairs.
• LD charges management – identify late deliveries and negotiate LD amounts.
