Job summary

MFG TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking a Logistics/Shipping Coordinator to manage daily inbound and outbound shipments, coordinate with suppliers, customers, forwarders, and transporters, and ensure accurate documentation.

You will prepare invoices, packing lists, DOs, assist in import/export customs clearance, track shipments, maintain records, and collaborate with Warehouse, Planning, Purchasing, and Finance to optimize logistics and costs.

Qualifications

• Minimum certificate in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
• 1–2 years of logistics/shipping experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of import/export, customs clearance, shipping documentation.
• Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and email communication.
• Good communication and coordination skills, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to follow up on multiple shipments simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipments with suppliers, customers, forwarders, and transporters.
• Prepare and check shipping documents such as Invoice, Packing List, DO, and shipping instructions.
• Assist in import and export customs clearance and ensure required customs declarations and supporting documents are properly prepared.
• Coordinate with forwarding agents on shipment arrangements, customs clearance, collection, and delivery.
• Track shipment status and provide timely updates on delays or delivery issues.
• Maintain proper records of import/export documents, customs declarations, shipping documents, and delivery records.
• Verify shipment details, quantities, part numbers, and documentation before goods are dispatched.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Planning, Purchasing, Finance, and other departments on logistics requirements.
• Assist in monitoring freight and transportation costs and checking logistics invoices against agreed quotations.
• Ensure logistics activities comply with company procedures, customs requirements, FTZ requirements, and applicable regulations.
