Job summary

NEWFIN CONSULTANCY SDN BHD is seeking a Mortgage Consultant in Petaling Jaya to assist clients with home loan applications and refinancing. You will evaluate financial profiles, compare bank packages, explain terms, and prepare documentation for submission.

You will build relationships with clients and partners, stay current on mortgage products, and drive high commissions through proactive networking and service excellence.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in applying for home loans, refinancing, and other mortgage financing solutions.
• Evaluate clients' financial profiles and recommend suitable financing options.
• Compare mortgage packages from multiple banks to provide the best recommendations.
• Explain loan terms, interest rates, and financing structures to clients.
• Collect, verify, and prepare all required loan documentation.
• Submit loan applications and follow up with banks throughout the approval process.
• Liaise with bankers, property agents, developers, and solicitors to ensure smooth transactions.
• Monitor loan application progress and provide regular updates to clients.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and business partners.
• Generate new business opportunities through referrals, networking, social media, and marketing activities.
• Stay updated on bank policies, mortgage products, and market trends.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and banking regulations.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets while maintaining excellent customer service.
