Job summary

Phonelab Group Sdn Bhd is hiring a mobile device technician in Ipoh to diagnose and repair hardware and software issues. You will handle motherboard problems, component replacements, and ensure high-quality service for customers.

Candidates should be proficient in diagnostic tools, have basic computer literacy, and be able to work 6 days a week with discipline and independence. English fluency is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Technical proficiency in mobile phone hardware repair and software troubleshoot.
• Hands on experience handling motherboard issue will be highly advantages.
• Experience in retail operations will be highly advantageous.
• Fluency in English/multi language will be an added advantage to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical issues clearly to customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose hardware and software issues in mobile phones using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge to identify root causes.
• Perform component-level repairs, including soldering and desoldering of microchips and connectors on mobile phone circuit boards.
• Replace damaged components such as screens, batteries, cameras, and charging ports ensuring proper functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues including OS errors and connectivity problems using flashing and debugging techniques.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair solutions clearly to customers, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and customer interactions in a computerized system.
