Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an IT Operations Specialist to oversee hardware, software, network infrastructure and server-related matters. You will set up, configure, support and maintain various hardware, operating systems, networks and security, providing frontline technical support to end-users.

Qualifications

• Recognized degree in Computer Science / IT / Computer Studies or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in executing IT initiatives.
• Strong business acumen with good technical IT infrastructure knowledge.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Experience deploying LAN, WAN and IT security technologies (DNS, DHCP, SMTP, VLANs, VPN).
• Teamwork, integrity, self-motivation and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the company’s IT operations including hardware, software, network infrastructure and server-related matters.
• Setup, configure, support and maintain hardware, operating systems, networks and security.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users.
• Participate in IT projects or new business initiatives involving IT requirements, testing and implementation.
• Liaise with vendors on server, network, security and application systems maintenance.
• Maintain IT assets and software licenses, logging and record keeping.

• Liaise with vendors on matters related to server, networks, security and application systems covering the areas of hardware and maintenance services.
• Maintaining It assets and software license - control, update, maintain and record the log.
