Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an IT Executive to maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, provide user support, and assist in delivering IT projects to ensure smooth business operations.

Ideal candidate has 2–5 years of networking and systems support experience, with strong troubleshooting skills and ability to coordinate IT projects with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of IT networking and systems support experience.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Experience managing Microsoft 365.
• Basic virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and business applications.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, user accounts, and email support.
• Assist in planning and implementing IT infrastructure and system projects.

We are looking for an IT Executive with experience in networking, systems support, and IT project coordination. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, providing technical support to users, and assisting in the implementation of IT projects to ensure smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Networking

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
• Maintain network security and ensure system reliability.

Systems Support

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and business applications.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, user accounts, and email support.
• Perform routine system maintenance, backups, and software updates.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly.

IT Project Coordination

• Assist in planning and implementing IT infrastructure and system projects.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement and technical support.
• Monitor project timelines and maintain project documentation.
• Prepare IT reports and documentation for management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in IT networking and systems support.
• Knowledge of:

• Routers, switches, and firewalls
• Windows Server and Active Directory
• Microsoft 365

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
