Job summary

MISEOUL (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to manage shelf layouts, ensure planograms are followed, and maintain eye-level product positioning. You will refill stock, monitor inventory, and report stock levels to the sales team.

The role requires a year of related experience, and a willingness to travel and work long hours during promotions. The candidate should be proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English, with Mandarin as an added advantage and a basic command of Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum working experience in a related field.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and work long hours during promotions.

Job description

Ensure products are properly arranged on shelve and implement planograms (shelf layout diagrams) provided by the company.

Maintain eye-level positioning of high-priority or best-selling products.

Refill shelves regularly to avoid stock-outs, monitor and manage inventory levels at the store and update sales team accordingly.

FIFO (First In, First Out) Management and responsible for remove expired or damaged goods from the shelves and follow up on return collection accordingly.

Set up promotional displays, banners, and signage in accordance with marketing campaigns. Accountable for ensure promotional prices or discounts are clearly labelled.

Visit multiple retail outlets as per an assigned route plan and ensure compliance with company display standards in each store.

Observe and report on competitor products, prices, and promotions.

Submit daily or weekly reports on stock levels, store conditions, and display compliance.

Maintain a good working relationship with store managers and staff to ensure cooperation.

Negotiate for better shelf space or special displays if possible.

Requirements:

Qualification and Education Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Primary/Secondary School/ SPM/”O” Level, Higher Secondary/ STPM/ “A” Level/ Pre-U, any field.

Have at least one (1) year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferred Skills:

Preferable worked in FMCG industry;

Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage;

Know how to use Microsoft apps;

Flexible and willing to continuously learning by experience;

Possess good command and public relation skills and team player;

Pleasant personality, energetic, hardworking, self-motivation and self-discipline;

Possess own transport;

Willing to travel and able to work long hours during trade promotion and trade fair

And any other tasks assigned by the Management.
